about

In turbulent times such as these, I believe that it is every artist’s duty to use their unique skill set to both document the present and to energize the future. With the death of Goerge Floyd and the growing Black Lives Matter movement, I feel it is our job as artists to support this push for equity. In creating The Philadelphia Solidarity Project, I want to compile the thoughts and hopes of some of Philadelphia’s greatest musicians and activists, and let their work speak for themselves. With this compilation, all the proceeds will be donated to organizations and campaigns fighting for equity and positive change.

Volume 1 successfully raised $285 for BLM, Justice for Breonna Taylor, and a variety of national and local bail funds.

Donations are based on the artists vote on where funds should be going, volume two proceeds will be split:
100% Justice for Breonna Taylor
